Events Explorer

Browse and filter raw events

The Events page lists raw events for the selected project, newest first, and lets you drill into any of them.

Filtering

  • Event: pick one event name from the top bar; the list of names comes from the project's event parents.
  • Search: free text matched against the event name, the user and property values.
  • User: an email, custom_id or user UUID, to see one person's timeline.
  • Date range: the sidebar range applies to every page of the dashboard.

Apply the filters with the button; results page 100 at a time.

Event details

Click a row to open the details dialog: every property as a key/value tree, the user it belongs to, the event type and the exact timestamp. Property values are copyable.

Property values

The property panel lists the keys seen for the selected event and, for each key, its most common values, backed by /v1/analytics/events/parents/{name}/properties/{key}/values.

From the API

curl -X POST https://api.iforevents.com/v1/analytics/events \
  -H "X-Project-Key: <key>" -H "X-Project-Secret: <secret>" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"start":"2026-09-01T00:00:00Z","end":"2026-09-11T23:59:59Z","limit":100,
       "events":[{"event_name":"purchase","properties":[{"key":"plan","value":"pro"}]}]}'

The key and secret pair is for scripts on your servers only; apps and browsers send the key alone (see Authentication).

Limits

  • 1,000 rows per page at most (limit), with offset for the rest.
  • Ranges are clipped to the plan's retention window.
  • Exports (/v1/analytics/export/events) stream CSV for the same filters.
