Organizations

Workspaces, membership and the organization switcher

An organization is the unit of billing, quota and access. Projects, members, API tokens and invoices all belong to one organization.

Creating an organization

Signup creates your first organization and makes you its owner. Additional organizations are created from the organization switcher (Create organization). Every self-service plan allows one owned organization per account; memberships in other organizations are unlimited, and Enterprise agreements can raise the cap.

A verified email is required to create organizations, projects and tokens.

Belonging to several organizations

Accepting an invitation adds you to another organization with the role the inviter chose. The switcher in the sidebar lists every organization you belong to with your role in each; switching changes the whole dashboard (projects, analytics, settings) to that organization. Each organization keeps its own plan and quota.

Deleting an organization

Deletion is handled on request while the self-service flow is being built: contact support from the owner's email. Erasing an organization removes its projects, events, members and invoices after a grace period.
