Team Management

Invite users and manage roles

Only admin and viewer can be granted; ownership stays with the organization's creator.

Inviting users

  1. Open Settings → Team and click Add member.
  2. Enter the email and pick a role.
  3. The person receives an email with a link that expires in 7 days.
  4. Opening the link asks for a password and name if they are new, or just confirms if they already have an account, and adds them to the organization.

Pending invitations are listed under the members table. Inviting an email that is already a member or already invited is refused.

Invitations require a verified email on the inviter's account. The onboarding wizard offers the same invite step right after the first project is created.

Changing roles

On Settings → Team, pick the new role in the member's row. The change is immediate: the member's next request carries the new role. You cannot change your own role or the owner's.

Removing users

Click the remove icon in the member's row and confirm. Access ends immediately; their past events and audit entries stay. Owners cannot be removed; members cannot remove themselves.

From the API

The team endpoints of the accounts service back this page: GET /v1/team, POST /v1/team ({"email","role_name"}), PATCH /v1/team/{user_id} ({"role_name"}) and DELETE /v1/team/{user_id}, all with a dashboard session of an owner or admin.
